Southeastern Ohio Woodland Interest Group To Hold Holiday Meeting

The SEOWIG December meeting is a special holiday meeting.

It is scheduled for Monday, December 13 and will take place at The Inn at
Hocking, at 6:00 pm. The Inn at Hocking is located in Nelsonville, and is
close to Hocking College. This is a time for members to share a meal and
some festive Holiday Spirit with one another.



Directions:

The Inn at Hocking is located at 15770 State Route 691, Nelsonville. Take
SR 691 West off of US 33 (coming from Athens this is a left turn, if coming
from Logan, it is a right turn). At the junction of US 33 and SR 691 there
are traffic lights and large billboard that advertises The Inn at Hocking.
Turn on to SR 691 and go past the entrance to Hocking College, which will be
on your right.

Go about another one-quarter of a mile and look for the entrance to The Inn
at Hocking on your left. The Inn at Hocking is not easily visible from
SR691, it is situated back behind the Tri-County Career Center and has a
long lane or drive way in to its parking lot.

A room has been reserved for the group by Joyce Miller for the evening.

A couple of appetizer platters will be ordered, courtesy of
SEOWIG while members order and pay for their entrees from the regular menu.
Joyce Miller has looked at the menu and says that entrees range in price
from $10 to $16. Please arrive shortly before 6:00 pm if possible, so
orders can be taken beginning at 6:00 pm.
While waiting for the meal orders to be prepared and served, Steve Stone,
SEOWIG member, will talk about some of the woodland management projects he
has planned and carried out on his farm that have made it eligible for an
American Tree Farm award.

Members are encouraged to bring spouses, other family members
or any special guests. In order to help The Inn at Hocking prepare for the
