Olney Friends School Summit Explores Green Economy In Appalachia

How does an environmentally aware, independent Quaker high school evolve into something larger than itself? How can regional organizations work together to develop a new green economy in Appalachia? Through the summit process,we are growing a network of innovative thinkers. We hope you'll join the conversation!

The summit gathering will mix keynote presentations, panels, and group facilitation with hands-on learning, tours, performances, and exhibits. There will also be opportunities for silent meditation, informal hallway conversations, browsing of books for sale, exploration of the outdoors, and much more. There is no cost for the summit apart from meeting your own needs for transportation, housing, and meals. Check out the schedule, including speaker bios.
