The Nelsonville Music Festival: May 15 - May 17
This year's Nelsonville Music Festival is going to be huge - Willie Nelson is headlining along with over 25 national, regional, and local acts on multiple stages. Stuart's Opera House is expecting 6,000 attendees and they're doing everything they can to make sure that the festival is as environmentally friendly as possible.
Rural Action is helping to put a "greener" face on the Nelsonville Music Festival this year - and we need YOUR help to do it!
- We will be coordinating recycling and litter pick-ups during the festival.
- Volunteers are needed to help staff the recycling station, run litter pick-ups around the grounds, sort recyclables from bins, and much more.
It's also important to note that the design stage for green systems at the festival is still underway. Let us know if you have ideas or would like to help out with the initial planning – we’d love to have your input!
Email our volunteer coordinator, Tori Patterson (tori@ruralaction.org) ASAP to sign-up!
