ohiofoodshed.org Goes Live!

Local Agricultural Resources Now Available Online!

During the past year, Rural Action Sustainable Agriculture (RASA) and our webmaster Sarah Warda have been working hard to build an impressive agricultural website that helps connect regional agriculture with a variety of different consumers. The website, OhioFoodShed.org, was envisioned as a one-stop resource for sustainabile agriculture in Ohio -- with information that includes recipes, contact information for agricultural operations around the state, compilations of seasonal produce, and featured blogs.

This Monday, all of the hard work and planning finally bore fruit when ohiofoodshed.org was launched onto the World Wide Web! We'll be talking about ohiofoodshed.org on the Rambler more in the coming weeks, but, for the moment, we encourage you to and go and explore everything that this new website has to offer!

We would also like to take a moment to recognize the hard work of Tom Redfern, Rose Roe, and Bob Fedyski, who compiled and wrote content for the project, as well the diligent efforts of our webmaster Sarah Warda who designed and built the site.

What an amazing resource! It looks beautiful, Sarah! Sure does make me miss the SEO foodshed :-( but it does inspire me to get more involved in Champaign/Urbana.
