Michelle Ajamian & Brandon Jaeger will be hosting an event at their farm to thresh and winnow (an ancient seed separation process) the last of their amaranth and millet harvest, part of the staple grains that they have been growing this past year. Afterwards, everyone is invited to a potluck-style Harvest Dinner. For more information, contact Michelle & Brandon (740.797.4399).

DIRECTIONS: From Athens, go out 550. Just under 2 miles from the overpass, you will see a white church with a black roof on the right, followed by what looks like a tall, white shepherd's hook sticking out of the ground. You will very soon be turning left onto Millcreek Road, BEFORE the billboard you will be seeing ahead on the right side of the road. After about 2 miles on Millcreek Road, you will have climbed to the top of the ridge, and the road takes a sharp curve to the left. Our place is the first two driveways on the right after the curve to the left. Signs will let you know which driveway to use, depending on their degree of fullness.

Hey!! .!! Happy Thanksgiving!! .!! :) :) :) :) :)
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, and every yr I like to get into the mood-extend the holiday, as it were-by reading "Thanksgiving novels." For example, these stories are mostly about family, about coming together to heal old hurts and showing thanks for the gift of love. . *
Do You Think You're Far better Off These days Than You Had been 10 Years Ago?
