Bridgebuilders Meeting, 5:30 pm, Trimble High School. We will discuss the recent Bridgebuilders Slogan Contest and various upcoming events that Bridgebuilders will be participating in.

Wednesday, November 7:
Environmental Justice in Southeast Ohio, 7-10 pm, Baker Center Theater. Two films will be shown: Eramet Marietta Neighbors Speak Out (25 min, Eramet Marietta Manganese Refinery) and For My Working Life (55 min, Piketon Uranium Enrichment Plant). Dr. Michele Morrone will briefly discuss her paper: "Environmental Justice and Health Disparities in Appalachian Ohio"

Sunday, November 11 – Thursday, November 15:
Athens Holiday Tree Festival: The Dairy Barn Arts Center and the Athens County 4-H are co-sponsoring the Athens Holiday Tree Festival, a community festival of trees and gala auction. Proceeds from the event will sustain the Athens County 4-H Endowment, which provides scholarships and financial aid to 4-H members and advisors. The Tree Festival will take place from 12pm – 8pm daily, from Sunday, November 11, through Thursday, November 15, at The Dairy Barn Arts Center. There will be entertainment from local arts groups, a model train display, and a visit from Santa (Sunday, 1-3pm). The event will culminate in a gala auction beginning at 6pm, Thursday, November 15. Items for auction will include hand-decorated trees, wreaths, and centerpieces, as well as other items. Auction services are sponsored by Shamrock Auction Service, Pat Sheridan Auctioneer. Folk Architecture: Churches of Central Ohio
Monday-Thursday, 11:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m, Ohio University Southern Art Gallery
Larry Hamel-Lambert and Tim Anderson Description, an exhibit of photographs by visiting artists Larry Hamel-Lambert and Tim Anderson, will open at the Ohio University Southern Art Gallery this Tuesday, October 23. A guest lecture and presentation will be held in the Spriggs Auditorium from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and an opening reception featuring the artists will be held from 7:00-8:00 p.m. that same evening. The exhibit will run through Wednesday, November 21.
The gallery is located on the first floor of the Dingus Technology Center on the Ohio University Southern campus. Admission is free and open to the public.
