Fun Fact

According to the US Census Bureau, as many as 36.4 million trick-or-treaters hit the streets each year in search of Halloween treats. A large portion of the $19 billion in candy produced each year is consumed during the Halloween season, with the average American consuming about 25 pounds of candy annually. These trick-or-treaters may also create traditional jack o’ lanterns, made from the 998 million pounds of pumpkins produced each year in the US, and buy garb from one of the 2,581 costume stores nationwide.
