Spend your weekend in the Wayne National Forest starting on Friday by creating primitive pottery with artist Jim Har and making whimsical stained glass stars with artist Cindy Yeager at her beautifully restored mission-style church residence and studio, before heading to Nelsonville for a gourmet dinner at Rhapsody Restaurant during the Final Friday event June 30. After breakfast and photo-taking tips on Saturday head out for a photo shoot and a guided tour of the Wayne Forest and surrounding mining towns on Saturday, before a boat ride on Burr Oak Lake to an evening gourmet dinner and tour at Angels Crossing Medicinal Herb Sanctuary. Civil War Reenactment at Roscoe Village

Join President Abraham Lincoln, Union and Confederate armies, an authentic fife and drum corps, a military artist, the camp laundress, and strolling costumed musicians at the Civil War Reenactment in Roscoe Village on July 15-16, 2006.

Monday Creek Watershed is offering an exciting three-day camp filled with nature, games, bugs and fun. During this educational camp, children ages nine to 14 will explore Monday Creek and learn about acid mine drainage and healthy and unhealthy ecosystems.

Sunday Creek Summer Day Camps
Join us this summer for three days of educational fun in Sunday Creek! Campers learn about local water ecology, pollution, and the environment. The day camps are for ages 9-13.
