Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer for the Hockhocking Folk Festival
Volunteers are needed for the Hockhocking Folk Festival that takes place May 19-20 at Robbins Crossing Historical Village on Hocking College's campus. In exchange for volunteering to cover a four-hour shift, volunteers will receive a weekend pass for this year's festival. We have an incredible line-up this year! For a preview of the festival schedule visit www.hockhockingfolkfest.org

Volunteers are needed from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. May 17-18 for festival set-up, May 19-20 for the festival and May 21 10a.m.-2 p.m. for festival clean-up. Folks interested in lending a hand can contact Amy at 740.594.5455 ext 106 or via email amyfugikawa@gmail.com

Huff Run Awareness Days
The Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership (HRWRP) is holding two Huff Run Awareness days, May 4 and May 11. HRWRP needs skilled volunteers to help out with a macro-invertebrate lesson, macro helper, acid mine drainage chemistry, electro fishing helper, and a site tour helper. We would really appreciate your help. For more info, contact: Terri Sponaugle-Schrock, terri@ruralaction.org.

Annual Dinner
Last year’s Annual Dinner at Camp Oty'Okwa in the Hocking Hills was a rousing success. Want to help plan this year’s dinner? Contact Lee Gregg at gregg@frognet.net.
