Member Spotlight

This week we are turning our member spotlight on Richard Thornton. Richard lives up near Newark, Ohio, so we do not get to interact with him as much as we would like to. Mr. Thornton said he became involved with Rural Action because he read an article by a man in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania about some of the work Rural Action’s Sustainable Forestry Program is doing to help build economy in the forestry field. He contacted that gentleman, who referred Mr. Thornton to us. He has been a member a little over a year now and wishes that he could be more involved with the organization. He is very interested in the work the sustainable agriculture and forestry programs are doing. We would like to thank Richard Thornton for his support and look forward to working with him in the future.
